Where: QUT Creative Industries Z9 Block (Musk Av@Gona Pd) Kelvin Grove

In a one evening only event, QUT fashion design students presented their graduate collection as part of the 2017 QUT Design Festival.

Sustainability, ethics and connecting with the community are priorities for QUT Fashion, therefore the show was open to the public free of charge.

For the first time the QUT Fashion Showcase was hosted at the new Creative Industries flagship building at Kelvin Grove campus, Brisbane.

Students delivered an art performance framed within the industrial and luxurious Richard Kirk designed Z9 creative studio facility.

Third-year fashion design students opened the event with an interactive catwalk at 6pm. Later at 8pm, the 2017 graduating fashion design students debuted their six outfit collections on the unique staircase runway.

The showcase presented designs available for purchase on the night as a ‘Shop the Runway’ experience.
