Student artists build community through portfolio event

QUT Visual Arts students Lucy Nguyen-Hunt and Zara Rose Dudley completed their Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience at QUT Art Museum through a combination of in-person and remote formats.

As part of their placement, Lucy and Zara devised and hosted an event, entitled Odd Folio, designed to bring arts students together to share conversation and feedback about one another’s portfolios. The event sought to respond to lost opportunities for connection and collaboration as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown earlier this year.

Hear from Lucy and Zara about the event, their take on the benefits of collaboration for artists, and what they learned from their time at QUT Art Museum.
