Rod Sheard

Rod Sheard is a Senior Principal and founder of global architecture firm Populous.

Populous is an international architecture and design practice with over thirty years’ experience in creating environments that draw people and communities together for unforgettable experiences. From Olympics to the Super Bowl, Populous has experience in design and brand activation on the biggest global stages. Rod has lead the design for some of their biggest and most loved projects including the Sydney and London Olympic Games, Wembley Stadium, Ascot Racecourse and the closing roof over Centre Court at Wimbledon.

In 2013 Rod, and former colleague John Barrow, were joint winners of the QUT Outstanding Alumni of the year.
