Olivia Dalgliesh is a QUT Entertainment Industries graduate with skills across many areas of entertainment management and marketing.

Olivia’s areas of speciality include event coordination, creative problem solving and digital marketing. These areas have seen her work with clients like Officeworks, Commonwealth Bank, Tour Amigo, YMCA Rat Race and in 2018, Walt Disneyworld.

During her time at QUT, she has been involved in many incredible opportunities. Some of these include being part of the MipTV 2016 study tour which saw her interning with Australian production companies at the MipTV Market in Cannes, winning a Purple Cow award for her team’s Qutopia business Trend Killers, gaining an internship (and later employment) with startup Tour Amigo as a result of a client pitch assessment and working with the YMCA to create and market the 2016 Rat Race. These opportunities have seen her grow in skillset, interests and network.

Her proudest moments have come from working on projects where she’s able to come up with creative solutions to problems and work with like-minded, passionate people to produce something spectacular.

Olivia will be working in the Walt Disneyworld Attractions department in 2018 learning from the best in the Entertainment Industry. Upon her return to Australia (mid-late 2018), she’ll be looking for opportunities in entertainment marketing & live events. She hopes to bring back invaluable knowledge from her time with Disney & use it to influence the way she and her future projects work.
