Belinda Wood

Master of Architecture

Architectural technology, Collaboration, Design, Presentation design, Technical drawing, Animation and walkthroughs

Belinda completed her Bachelor of Design (Honours) (Architectural Studies) from Queensland University of Technology in 2016 and obtained her Master of Architecture the following year, in 2017.

Throughout her studies Belinda has developed a passion for sustainable architecture that is responsive to people and place. She is drawn to how architecture can shape the human experience. Beyond addressing form, programming and renewable/sustainable building technologies, she believes addressing the human aspect of architecture is fundamental to creating meaningful spaces that can evolve and adapt over time.

Belinda joined Populous as an Architectural Assistant in early 2016 and has been involved in the design and delivery of a number of major projects in a wide variety of scales, climatic conditions, building typologies and project phases. This varied experience has allowed her to enhance her skills in areas including Construction, Technical Documentation, Contract Administration, Spatial Planning and Software (including Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Lumion). More recently, she has been involved in the design and documentation of a high-performance training centre.

In addition to Belinda’s passion for architecture, her other interests include touch football, triathlons, and gardening.
