I’m thrilled to be graduating from my Masters of Architecture and excited by the possibilities for my future. I have enjoyed my time at QUT and learnt a wide array of things but most importantly I have gained the skills to learn for myself. My greatest memory from my studies here at QUT will be the study tour I participated in. This took me to Cambodia with a great group of people where we learnt about photogrammetry technology and helped digitally preserve Cambodian architectural heritage. I have balanced my studies with an internship at a small architecture firm and a part time job in customer service.
I have a passion for designing and making, which has always led me to taking the most hands on approach with everything in life. Whether it be hand drafting for my entire last semester or making my own electronic devices instead of buying them, I always endeavor to learn and practice my design and making skills. My online portfolio includes a showcase of my university work and personal projects (Bespoke keyboards, Custom 3Dprinters). I have interests in placemaking, geography and Australian identity which have shaped my past studies and contributed to success in my spatial science and planning minors, I have also won a student prize for mapping.
My Education and work experience have helped me gain a range of skills relevant to the built environment and design fields as well as experience in a suite of programs including: (sized to my magnitude of experience). Autodesk Revit, Autocad, Inventor, ReCap, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Archicad, Sketchup, Lumion, ESRI ArcGIS, Rhino 3D, Blender, Microsoft Suite.
